At Expression Jewellery, we are dedicated to using 14ct Gold filled and Sterling silver wire, hand sculptured into beautiful pieces using unique design. Only precious, semi precious stones and gems are used as well as Swarovski Crystals.

Each jewellery piece is designed with individualism, originality and character in mind.

Expression Jewellery presents to you an adornment of intricate and distinctive designs that celebrates the high quality of inspirational and imaginative jewellery that will excite and entice you. Enjoy!

Caring for your jewellery

Gold filled wire comes in ten, twelve and fourteen carat gold. The higher the carat the better the quality. It has a solid layer of permanent gold, which is pressure bonded and wrapped around brass core or Sterling silver, and because of this, it has the same physical properties as solid gold. Therefore, it is known for its longevity and tarnish free qualities as well as having the same strength and durability as solid gold.

Gold filled Jewellery should not be confused with gold plated, which will often fade after frequent use and may sometimes cause an allergic reaction on the skin.

Gold filled Jewellery should be cared for in the same manner as 9ct, 12ct, 14ct and 18ct gold, the same would apply to Sterling silver, avoid using any corrosive jewellery cleaners as sometimes they can cause unnecessary damage. Soapy water (washing up liquid) and a soft cloth is best used to maintain your jewellery. You can however buy special cloths that have special cleaning agents already added.

Under normal wearing conditions and proper care your Expression Jewellery will last a lifetime. Naturally, delicate pieces such as pearls and corals will need extra care as would any solid gold or Sterling silver piece, avoid chlorine and heavy detergents, which may discolour and shorten the longevity of your jewellery.
